Jason heads up the Financial Services’ team, helping clients to manage their money and plan their financial future.
As a Chartered Financial Planner and fellow of the Personal Finance Society, he’s passionate about ensuring clients have a sound personal finance plan and is a great advocate of long-term wealth planning. Jason is an expert in bespoke company pension schemes and regularly carries out trustee work.
Jason was awarded Business Services Professional of the Year at the 2017 FirstPro Awards in recognition of his commitment to both clients and the local community.
Jason joined HB&O in 2010 and became Managing Director in 2012. Having started his career in retail management, Jason moved into financial services in the 1990s, working as a financial adviser for Lloyds TSB Private Banking, managing high net worth clients.
When he’s not in the office, Jason likes to keep fit by running and cycling. Although he has a keen interest in football, he is more likely to be seen running his Fantasy Football team than running round a pitch these days.
Tom is an experienced Chartered Financial Planner and fellow of the Personal Finance Society with a strong background in providing advice on pensions and auto enrolment.
Tom joined HB&O in 2011, having previously worked for a large insurer in the centre of Birmingham. He is an advocate for holistic financial planning and has built up considerable knowledge and experience of implementing clients' ethical views into their portfolios.
Originally from Leeds, Tom grew up in Sydney, Australia between the ages of 8 and 19, which sparked his interest in rugby league. Now living with his wife and two sons in Henley-in-Arden, Tom remains loyal to Leeds United football club and supports the Leeds Rhinos rugby league team. A busy family life has limited his own sporting endeavours of late, with a visit to ‘Rugby Tots’ being the pinnacle of recent athletic achievement.
Thomas is a Chartered Financial Planner and advises on most areas of financial planning, with a particular focus on pensions, investments and Inheritance Tax. Thomas strives to demystify the financial planning world for his clients, helping them to feel fully engaged in their financial planning process.
Following the completion of his economics degree, Thomas worked with a number of large financial service product providers before joining HB&O as a Financial Planner in 2012.
Thomas enjoys family life in the North Cotswolds with his wife and three children. Thomas keeps fit by walking, mountain biking, running and playing the occasional round of golf – as long as it’s warm and sunny!
Anthony works with clients to ensure they plan effectively for the future, specialising in business and family protection, investments, and pensions.
Before joining HB&O in 2013, Anthony worked as a financial adviser for Lloyds TSB for more than eight years. Anthony graduated from Wolverhampton University with a BA Hons in Business and Economics, and pursued a career as a fitness instructor and personal trainer before becoming a financial adviser.
Anthony still enjoys keeping fit and has completed over 18 marathons; these include Rome, Vienna, Birmingham and over 20 London marathons. All of his London marathons were in support of the Charity VICTA, a charity that supports blind and partially sighted children and their families. Through marathon running, he has now raised in excess of £20,000 for various charities. As well as keeping fit, Anthony has a busy family life, with two young daughters and a Labrador.
After starting work in early 2000 with financial advisers in Stratford Upon Avon David has experienced first-hand the ebbs and flows of global financial markets through times of boom and bust and unprecedented change. During his career he has achieved both Chartered Financial Planner and Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society status' and worked with some of the industry’s biggest institutions helping simplify complex financial planning problems for his clients.
Whilst covering all areas of financial planning, David now focuses on pension, investment and estate planning.
Away from HB&O David gets enjoyment from his work as Director and CFO of the Bengeworth Multi Academy Trust and has been involved in several charitable endeavours including riding from London to Paris, running 3 and a half marathons very slowly and recently cycling across Devon with his two young daughters.
David is also a keen sportsman playing cricket and tennis and very infrequently when time allows the odd round of golf.
Ian is HB&O’s dedicated mortgage adviser – an important role which ensures HB&O can offer clients support with one of the biggest financial decisions they’ll ever make. With access to the full range of lenders and products on the market, Ian will work with new and existing clients to secure the best deals to suit their requirements.
Ian has been in the financial services industry for almost 20 years. He has worked as a mortgage adviser since 2004, and is very experienced in providing clear and timely advice in an ever-changing market. Before joining HB&O in October 2015, Ian worked for AXA and Lloyds TSB.
Outside the office, Ian enjoys playing various sports, including golf and cricket, and is a Coventry City fan.
As a Paraplanner, Robert works alongside HB&O’s financial advisers to provide the highest-quality financial planning solutions for clients, including writing technical reports and preparing and checking financial plans.
Having previously worked as a Financial Adviser and Senior Auditor, Robert joined HB&O in 2013. He plays an important role in the team and ensures financial advice is appropriate to the client’s situation and their individual requirements.
Robert has a busy home life with two sons, and in his spare time enjoys running, movies, a good beer and cooking.
Lucy is a Financial Planning Analyst, providing business and analytical support to the HB&O team. This includes preparing financial plans, researching technical data and putting together reports.
Having joined HB&O in 2009 as a trainee administrator, Lucy worked her way up to manage a team of back-office staff before taking on the role as Financial Planning Analyst in October 2015.
Kerry is Financial Services Office Manager. She plays a vital role in keeping the office running smoothly, managing the administration team and overseeing business activities such as HR, compliance and workflow.
Kerry has been with HB&O since 2006, so is pretty skilled at keeping the Financial Services team in order. She likes to ensure everyone knows what they are meant to be doing and provides training to new members of staff on various systems and processes.
When she’s not spending time with her two young children at home, Kerry enjoys running and keeping fit.
